Hear KY is Veteran owned and operated by Dr. Ryan Broyles. Opened in 2019, Dr. Broyles wanted to help the people in his community experience good hearing health. Located in downtown Franklin, KY, our office space is unique yet inviting. We can help people of all ages, from children to geriatrics. Dr. Broyles has a passion for help individuals experience better hearing and communication.

Meet Our team
Dr. Ryan Broyles, Au.D.
Audiologist | Owner
Dr. Broyles earned his bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida and his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. He knew in college he wanted to pursue a career where he could help people and audiology fit that desire. Dr. Broyles worked for five years as a Military Officer and Audiologist in the United States Navy in Japan and Virginia.
Dr. Broyles is a husband, father, and Veteran. He has been married to an amazing woman since 2004 and they have three wonderful children together. He owns a 20-acre farm (Starry Fields Farm) in Rockfield, KY, where he raises animals, grows flowers, and hosts community events. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling the world, lifting weights, riding his road bike, baking, and barbecuing.
Katie Doaks
Office Coordinator
Katie was born and raised in Franklin and has been dedicated to helping patients improve their quality of life through better hearing since graduating from the Medical Institute of Kentucky in 2017. Her healthcare background includes both ENT and audiology, where she quickly discovered a passion for supporting individuals on their hearing health journey.
Before joining Hear KY, Katie worked alongside Dr. Broyles at an ENT clinic. She is excited to once again be part of his team, helping patients reconnect with the sounds and people that matter most.
Outside the office, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and three beautiful children. Much of her free time is spent cheering them on from the sidelines at sporting events. She is also actively involved in her church, where she serves as a Sunday school teacher for young children. At home, Katie shares life with her beloved dog, Chase, and cat, Skye, who are very much part of the family.
