About Hear KY

Dr. Ryan Broyles, an experienced audiologist and the owner of our hearing clinic, has dedicated over ten years to the field of audiology. Prior to establishing his own practice, Dr. Broyles served as an Officer in the Navy. His background gives him a unique perspective on the importance of delivering compassionate and thorough hearing care to all of his patients.

What to Expect During Your Visit

1. We’ll start with a discussion to understand your hearing needs better, reviewing the paperwork you’ve completed and getting to know you personally.

2. Before conducting the hearing test, we will examine your ears with an otoscope to check for any earwax buildup that could impact your hearing.

3. Next, you’ll undergo a simple and quick hearing test. You will sit in a soundproof booth wearing headphones and listen to a series of sounds.

4. After the hearing exam, we will review the results recorded on your audiogram together.

5. If hearing aids are recommended, we will explore the options that best suit your needs.
